Emily Leffler Schulman is a Principal Software Lead at Alley who specializes in WordPress development. Before Alley, Emily built sites for a variety of businesses, non-profits, agencies, and universities as a freelance developer. Emily was responsible for front-end development for University of Maryland Global Campus, the largest online public university in the nation. She has also been an open source contributor to Jetpack and Yoast. She co-founded a music studio and birth doula practice, too. Outside of work, Emily is fond of gardening, wandering and spending time with her family, which includes her husband, two kids, a dog and two guinea pigs. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in visual arts and computer science. She is based in Baltimore.
